Platform is designed to scale easily for today’s dynamic video workgroups. Solutions are available to support deployments from 2 to 2000+ users and are flexible to grow with your business, enabling efficient management of local, remote and contract employees.
All Platforms offer a variety of direct connectivity and switch expansion options for fast access to the server. Client workstations can connect via 1GbE and 10GbE over copper or fiber. iMacs, MacBook Pros and Mac Pros are also supported via Thunderbolt 1 & 2 connectivity.

| The ProMAX Platform server can be configured to act as an Adobe After Effects render node. This allows both Windows and Mac clients running After Effects (AE) to submit render jobs to the Platform and free up processing power on their workstation for other tasks. Given the expandability of the Platform Server to add additional GPU cards, the Platform AE Render module not only takes advantage of the Platform’s CPU advantage but can also offload some rendering tasks to today’s power GPU’s.
How it Works? Using the Platform Manager software, system administrators can designate a Platform Space as an Adobe After Effects render location. Mac or Windows users connected to the Platform that have access to that space, will be able to submit their render jobs to that location. The Platform system watches the designated Platform Space for job submissions and manages the remote submission to the After Effects render node software. |
